Dun Laoghaire Baths Ropey Ladder, Dublin
This is the ladder that carried so many wet feet it's hard to imagine. As a kid we used to come here and have great fun whilst my poor mum would get a half hour break from us all killing each other.
After many a wild storm the ladder is left in tatters and what's interesting is that it's become the resting place for so many pieces of plastic rope it's amazing.
The Baths were originally built in 1843 and were in constant use until 1997 when they were finally closed, and over the years the graffiti artists took over.
This image forms part of a series taken the very last day before theWrecking ball moved onsite to demolish the place.
